Extended settings for generating passwords based on passphrases
- In the ViPNet Password Generator version 4.1, you can generate only passwords based on random passphrases. For this, you can use one of the three preinstalled levels of password strength and acquire information on passwords of the chosen strength level, including information on your password meeting the Microsoft requirements.
Increased level of password strength
- With ViPNet Password Generator version 4.1, you can generate passwords up to 24 characters long with numbers and uppercase letters. The strongest password consists of five words and digits.
Possibility to generate a higher number of passwords at the same time
- With ViPNet Password Generator version 4.1, you can define a number of passwords (1 to 9999) you would like to generate using the specified parameters. Then, if necessary, save generated passwords as a text file or print them.
Passphrase in other languages
- Now you can generate passphrase in French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Compatibility with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems
- ViPNet Password Generator has been tested to meet all the technical requirements to be Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Compatible. You can find information on the ViPNet Password Generator software in Windows Compatibility Center.
Other localizations
- The English, German, Spanish, and French interfaces of the software have been updated.
- Immediate forced closing of all programs and logging off from Windows in case SafeDisk-V fails to disconnect containers in the Danger and Extreme Danger modes
